IMPORTANT ANNUAL MEETING LINKS WINTHROP UNIVERSITY INFORMATION

The SCAS President and Program Chair of the 77th Annual Meeting of the South Carolina Academy of Science express appreciation to the individuals, organizations, corporations and industrial sponsors for their outstanding work and sponsorship of the 2004 Annual Meeting. The current President of the Academy Dr. David Stroup, pictured above wishes to personally thank Dean Norine E. Noonan, Ph.D., Dr. Jim Deavor, Dr. Noonan’s staff, the SCAS Council, and the faculty and staff of the College of Charleston and Francis Marion University for making the 77th Annual Meeting a success. An annual meeting is held in the Spring, usually in March or April. Any member of the SCAS or the SCJAS is eligible to present a paper at the meeting or attend the meeting. Winthrop University will host this year's Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 20, 2005. Papers must emphasize scientific research and education. The deadline for submission of papers for SCJAS is February 1, 2005.
