MORNING PROGRAM: There will be two presentation sessions, one from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. (Session A) and one from 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. (Session B). Indicate your preferences for each of these two sessions by listing numbers of your top choices on the other side of this page. Space is limited in most sessions.
The keynote presentation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and a final presentation to wrap up the conference will be held from 12:10 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. The conference officially ends at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will not be provided.

(If possible, try to write one check for all students, parents, and teachers who register from your group.)
Pre-registration materials must be received or postmarked by: Friday, October 20, 2006. Registration must be made by an adult representing the student (example: parent or teacher). However, it is desirable to allow each child to make his or her own selections. The Academy wishes to foster an excitement for science in children which we hope will result in more active participation in class projects and activities in this critical needs area. We prefer no more than 10 students from a class be in one session. There must be one adult for every ten students.
Duplicate the form on the reverse side as many times as necessary.
REGISTRATION FEE OF $4.00 PER PERSON INCLUDES MEMBERSHIP INTO THE SOUTH CAROLINA MIDDLE/ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ACADEMY OF SCIENCE (grades 4 - 8)
Pre-Registration requests must be received or postmarked no later than Friday, October 20, 2006.
After that, you must register on-site at Lander University on the day of the MESAS Workshop.
Registration on-site is on a space-available basis for a fee of $5.00.
We strongly encourage you to pre-register as early as possible.
We expect space to fill up at this workshop!

All vehicles should park in the areas on the maps for faculty, staff, and commuters (labeled FSC on the map). Do not park in the areas for residential students or in reserved places. THE SPONSOR SHOULD PICK UP REGISTRATION MATERIALS FOR THE GROUP at Cultural Center Auditorium (CC on map), BETWEEN 7:40 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. All persons, including parents and teachers, must register. The Keynote Presentation Assembly begins at 8:35 a.m. in the Cultural Center Auditorium. The last session ends at 12:30 p.m.
